Hinges and Drawer runners

Both doors and drawers are available in a variety of soft close (silent) option. We have made soft close hinges a standard feature of all Barry Barend Woodcrafters cabinetry. We have chosen the path of the built-in soft close ‘piston’ system which is part of the hinge rather that the soft close add on ‘attachment’ that is sometimes used in order to reduce costs.

OUR PROCESS

STEP 1: Initial Brief

The initial contact with a client is so important, because it allows one to meet the client face-to-face. The Consultant leading the project will meet with the Client at either their premises or ours. From the initial briefing a thorough understanding is developed as to what exactly the client is seeking both in terms of design and the materials required.

STEP 2: Design & Costing

Once the client and consultant have met, the consultant will hand over the brief to one of our highly experienced designers who will design the kitchen in 3D space to present to the client. This step also enables us to prepare the estimate for the client

STEP 3: Installation

When the costing has been accepted, our manufacturing team with combined experience of over 5 years can start the manufacturing and assembly at our workshop and once completed, our fitters will install your new kitchen. Lead times may vary from 3-8 weeks depending on the complexity of the project.
